A Candidate Forum

Tonight, Red Fork COG was the host to one of the most significant political forums in our community's history. Republican Sally Bell and Democrat Karen Keith both took questions in a forum/debateformat session from our moderator Cindy Morrison. The forum was an outstanding opporutnity for our community to hear how the future County Commissioner will face issues that matter to our neighborhoods. Everything from the 41st Street expansion and the Gilcrease Loop development projects to the potential annexation of Berryhill was discussed, and both candidates did a very wonderful job focusing on Southwest Tulsa in their answers. It was fantastic having both of the candidates on our campus. And, if you missed out on the event - not to worry. You can download the entire discussion/debate in MP3 format.

It's Pumpkin Patch Time

Those of you who have been around Red Fork for at least a few years know that we built the Memorial Pavilion on our West Campus to attract new events in the life of our church family. One of the premiere events that we had planned was the Pumpkin Patch. Last year, our event was so special it was even featured during a Channel 8 News segment. This year, the Pumpkin Patch is going to be even bigger and better!

This year, in participation with our Vision Campaign, the event will involve more than just pumpkins. There will be arts, crafts, collectibles, and fun seasonal trinkets to purchase and enjoy with your family. All proceeds will go towards our Vision Campaign and towards the construction of our new worship center.

So, make sure that you come out and buy your pumpkins and enjoy the awesome fall atmosphere at our West Campus. The pumpkins are scheduled to arrive October 15th and the sales will begin soon after. Stay Tuned for more information..... and spread the word about our Pumpkin Patch. It's sure to be a great time for the whole family, come take part in our new tradition.

Our Women Are Alive!

The Red Fork Women are alive! There's a ton of great things coming up in October for our ladies! To kick things off, our WCG group is hosting their montly Bean Meal to support world-wide missions on Wednesday October 1st at 5:45pm in the Outreach Center.

And, while this event is a great way to get involved in ministry, don't forget that on alternating Monday nights our women meet for the "Breaking Free" Bible Study by Beth Moore at the Right-Out Building at 7:30pm. This is one of the most popular discipleship studies our women have conducted. Even if you've missed out in the past, it's never too late to participate.

If you would like more information about any of these awesome Red Fork Ladies events contact our church office anytime!
